Hockey night part two, Junior Championship Ice Hockey
A notice has to be written in my poor english, in case that any english speaking canadian googles on the IIHF Championship under twenty.
First of all, to my knowledge the swedish goaltender Jakob Markström is not known in Sweden to dive or easily crack, he has a strong mind. How ever it is also known that he is not very fund in a lot of traffic around him.
Through my eyes it it very obvious that the Canadians did nothing to try to avoid the goalie, instead they really tried to knock him of his feet at least three times ... and they succeeded.
I also want to take to the protocol that Sweden did not loose the game due to these situations instead they lost because they were ineffecient in power play.
Now to my question:
People of Canada, what would have happened if the Swedes would have hitten the Canadian goal tender in the same way, diving or no diving ? How would the Canadian crowd / players / coaches and the referees react ?
